Kerry has some great accommodation options, it’s full of really nice hotels, I have put together a few cracking hotels to check out while visiting Kerry.

Kerry is full of interesting stuff to see and do, so in this post, I’m have included some of the best hotels in Kerry to spend a few nights or a week or two depending on how long you wanna stay in the Kingdom!

There is a huge amount of nice places to stay in Kerry, everything from 2 stars to 5 stars, B&B’s and loads of self-catering accommodation. Some hotels in Kerry are in amazing locations that are just so scenic and just beautiful.

The Lake Hotel, Killarney

The Lake Hotel in Killarney is an amazing hotel to stay in, its in one of the nicest locations of any hotel in Kerry and its a four-star rating. The lands feature the remains of an old 12th-century castle at the rear of the Lake Hotel.

The surrounding views of the lake and mountain ranges behind the building is special. The large super cool building is located on the Lough Lein, a beautiful lake with views from the rooms that are spectacular. There are some rooms with balcony’s and there are jacuzzis in some of the rooms, you can sit out on the balcony and have your breakfast overlooking the beautiful lake.

There is plenty to keep you busy on the grounds, if you like good food you will enjoy a stay at the Lake Hotel, there are a number of restaurants and bistros to check out. There is a health and wellness centre offering facial treatments and body treatments and beauty products.

There is a great bar on the grounds. There are loads of activities to do in Killarney, fishing, hiking, sightseeing all within close proximity to the Lake Hotel Killarney.

The Gleneagle Hotel, Killarney

The Gleneagle Hotel has so much to offer, great retro rooms, self-catering accommodation, a concert and there is a live gig arena called the Gleneagle INEC arena, you can see all types of acts from rock and roll to comedy gigs and Irish musicians and performers.

The Gleneagles hotel offering loads of things to do and see, you will be kept busy on the grounds on this 5 star, it’s in a great location just a few minutes from Killarney town. The Gleneagle hotel boasts 244 rooms with all types of rooms available, single, double, family rooms you name it, they have it!

There is balcony rooms, triple rooms and superior doubles. This 5 star has self-catering apartments just located a few minutes walk from the INEC arena grounds. The food in this hotel is excellent, they can cater to everybody needs. The 5-star rating shows it’s one of the best in Kerry! There is lots of stuff to see and do close to the Gleneagle Hotel.

The Europe Hotel, Killarney

This super cool Irish hotel is in a sublime location, with a lake at the rear of the building. The building is surrounded by the wonderful lakes of Killarney, it’s just a beautiful view from the Europe Hotel. Its a 5-star rating and it’s full of nice décor, glass and scenic surroundings.

The Killarney Golf and Fishing Club are straight across from the Europe hotel, its very handy. There are lots of different type rooms to choose from Golf side rooms with beautiful views of the gold course, lake view rooms with lake views, family rooms and single rooms to mention just a few.

There are a number of bars on the grounds to check out. The Panorama restaurant offers some great food to try like the hay smoked loin of venison or the pearl barley risotto.

The Europe hotel caters for weddings, it’s a popular location for a wedding and perfect for some wedding photographs with a backdrop of the Killarney Lakes at the rear of the building. Its definitely one of the best in Kerry!

Aghadoe Height Hotel, Killarney

This 5-star is perfect for a trip to Killarney in Kerry. It’s just in an amazing location. Tis a cracker of a hotel. Aghadoe Heights is located next to one of the nicest viewpoints in Kerry, there is an old church right across from Aghadoe Heights that dates back to the 10th century.

Aghadoe Heights features a spa with a terminal suite and spa treatments. The rooms are unreal with such beautiful views, you can choose from classic double rooms, lake view rooms, deluxe rooms and lake view studio suites. The food is top class with lots of Irish produce on offer, you can try the eggs benedict or maybe some good Irish sirloin steak.

The surrounding areas of the hotel are a lovely area to walk around and get some photos of the amazing views, it’s unreal. It’s a hotel that you will enjoy while visiting Kerry.

Dingle Skellig Hotel, Dingle Kerry

This is another great hotel in Kerry, it’s in an amazing location on the edge of Dingle town with some amazing views from the rooms and grounds. The town of Dingle is just four minutes away, Dingle has loads things to do and see, one of the nicest and most scenic routes “The Slea Head Drive” is only minutes from The Dingle Skellig Hotel.

The surrounding area is fantastic with the Dingle Peninsula surrounding the building, it’s a great place for some photos. There are plenty of different room types available, executive suites and presidential suites and classic rooms. The rooms are decorated to a very high standard with everything you need for a nice stay.

The Dingle Skellig has a full spa, this spa is located in one of the best locations of any spa in Ireland, it overlooks the Dingle Peninsula with a jacuzzi outside that is superb and there’s an indoor swimming pool for you to enjoy! It’s a great place to stay while visiting Dingle in Kerry.

Ballyseede Castle Hotel, Tralee

This old Irish castle is now turned into a super cool 4-star. Its located around a ten-minute drive from the town of Tralee. Tralee is home to the Rose Of Tralee festival every year. This festival takes place in Tralee and all the ladies ( the roses) are competing to win the crown and title of the Rose of Tralee for a 12 month period.

The castle date back to the 15th century and is set on 30 acres of amazing lands, this castle has a rich history. The interior of the castle is decorated beautifully with some great decorative features. The building is in great shape, and this cool designed building has many interesting features like the doric columns that bring you into an amazing solid oak staircase in the lobby area, the interior and exterior have some grand decorative features.

The rooms are beautiful and spacious, you can choose from superior and family rooms or a room with a four-poster bed. All in all its a beautiful place to put your head down that is in a fabulous location in Kerry. This castle accommodation masterpiece is the only one of its kind in the Kerry region!

Sheen Falls Lodge, Kenmare

This wonderful building is located just a few minutes from the colourful town of Kenmare. It’s another great hotel in Kerry. This luxurious 5 star has loads to offer, its in amazing location with plenty to keep you busy for a few days.

There are a few room options on offer, classic, superior rooms and estate rooms. There are some really nice cottages you can rent on the grounds of the Sheen Falls Lodge, these cottages have thatched roofs and are a real Irish classic.

The Sheen Fall Lodge offers great food, an a la carte menu and you can relax for some afternoon tea. Its the perfect location for a wedding, and it has become a hotspot for weddings in the Kerry region. There is a full spa with a jacuzzi, sauna and steam room on-site, you can work out in the gym.

There loads of activities in Kenmare and the surrounding areas and it’s on the Ring Of Kerry route which is one of Ireland best road trips! There is tennis, fishing, archery and clay pigeon shooting available to check out in this wonderful Irish gem of a hotel! You have to visit there and see it for yourself!
