Shannon Airport is located in County Clare in the Midwest region of Ireland, it’s around a 25-minute drive to the closest city which is Limerick. Limerick is Ireland’s third-largest city with a population of 195,000 people. Shannon Airport has the benefits of a pre-preference service for passengers travelling to and from the United States of America., this is a very handy service and saves a lot of time and stress.

The airport is operating since the 1940s and is known as a hassle-free Airport, because of the pre-preference USA service this is a great option while travelling to and from the United States. The airport benefits from relatively small airport passenger numbers, this means that people enjoy using the airport because it’s just easy and hassle-free.

Passenger numbers excessed 1.8 million in 2018, but this isn’t a huge amount compared to some other airports and this really has added benefits when choosing Shannon Airport as your Irish airport of choice.
