Stay in West Clare
West Clare has some of the best scenery you will see in Ireland, the area has it all, nice sandy beaches, old historic sites, warm colourful Irish Pubs and loads of activities! West Clare is home to the famous and beautiful Cliffs of Moher and many other cool places like the Burren region famous for its dramatic limestone landscape!
In this post, I’m recommending a really cool website: West Clare.Net. It features loads of really nice places to stay in Clare and it has very useful information about the whole West Clare area.
I travel to Clare a lot because I only live about an hour from Lahinch which I visit a lot, and trust me West Clare has some of the best B&B’s in the whole of the Emerald Isle. The location of some of the B&BS is just amazing with some many things to do locally.
West Clare .Net
The WestClare.net site is laid out very well and easy to navigate. It offers lots of information about local attractions and useful services. The site also features a number of top-class B&Bs and Holiday Homes in some really amazing locations.
My favourite pages there are the Wild Atlantic Way page and the traditional music page. What I really like is, that the website especially supports small businesses – and there are lots of them in County Clare. When you book/shop there, the money goes 100 per cent to the owners, not to any of the big booking or shopping portals!

B&B’s Close to the Cliffs of Moher
If you planning on visiting the Cliffs of Moher, staying in West Clare is a must. The area has some amazing bed and breakfasts, some within a few minutes of the magical Cliffs of Moher.
If you’re on a road trip along the Wild Atlantic Way or touring around Ireland you have to stay in Clare to experience the real Ireland, that is the Ireland you see on postcards and in movies I mean!
