The Moher Cottage is located in Liscannor just 2 minutes from the beautiful Cliffs of Moher.  The area of Liscannor has a beautiful pier and some lovely Irish pubs. The famous John P Holland came from Liscannor. John P Holland was an Irish inventor of the submarine. His submarine vessel which was accepted and developed by the US Navy into the modern submarines we have today.

The Moher Cottage is just outside the village of Liscannor on the way to the Cliffs. This café and shop is no ordinary café, it is located in a special area of County Clare. This retro old cottage has a cool tasty limestone finish, the cottage has been turned into a lovely little cafe and shop nowadays.

The View from the Moher Cottage

One of the huge benefits of stopping at this little gem is the view and the delicious coffee on offer. The cottage is surrounded by green fields, and the Wild Atlantic Way coastline in the distance with Lahinch beach in the view from the cottage, it’s a dramatic view! There are not many cafes or shops in Ireland that have this kind of view, it’s amazing to say to least.

If you’re on the way to the Cliffs of Moher on a road trip, this little gem is the ideal place to stop for a coffee and a snack, believe me, you will enjoy it. This amazing little gem has the benefit of free parking. It is located just a 10-minute drive from Lahinch and very close to the Cliffs of Moher which is Ireland’s second busiest tourist attraction.

She is hands-on in the cafe and the store, and she has got some rave reviews in Irish media circles and online through some social media platforms, everyone just loves the place when they pop in for a coffee and a chat.
