How to get to Adare Village
The village of Adare is a great little village to visit. It’s full of interesting historic sites, including an old manor house, Adare Manor is now turned into one of the world’s best hotels and gold resorts. The village has some really old churches, boutique retail shops, charming
Irish pubs and loads more to see.
Adare is full of interesting buildings and old sites, it has a long and rich history. Getting to Adare is fairly easy because it links via the main motorway road to most major cities in Ireland.
In this post, I have put together some directions from Dublin. Cork and Limerick. I have added how to get to Adare Manor
Location of Adare Village
The village is located in County Limerick, it is around a 20-minute drive from Limerick city. The village is 18.6 kilometres from Limerick. The postcode for the Tourist Information Centre that is situated in the Adare heritage centre on the main street is – V94 HD92. The heritage centre in Adare has FREE parking, it is the perfect place to park up while visiting the heritage centre which is FREE to visit and check out the beautiful village.
Location of Adare Manor
Adare Manor is located as you just arrive into the village from the Limerick side. It is located on your left-hand side. If you are travelling from the Kerry direction, you will arrive in the village and drive down the main street passing all the thatched cottages and then exiting the village towards the Limerick direction, you will see the entrance top Adare Manor on your right-hand side.

Limerick to Adare Village
Drive towards the Willam Street Direction and toward Little Willam street
Continue and follow the R527 roadway
Turn right at Straid an Ceoil
Turn left onto the Roxboro road and R511 roadway
Approaching the Roxboro roundabout, take the third exit towards the Childers road signposted/R509
Turn left after 500 metres
At the roundabout, take the first exit towards the signs for M20/N21
Drive and continue on the M20
Keep right and drive onto the N21 road
Take the second exit off at the roundabout where the lantern lodge is located
Pass the Adare golf club grounds on your left-hand side
Drive straight on and you will arrive in Adare village.
Dublin to Adare Village
The journey from Dublin to Adare village is just under 217 kilometres, the route will take between 2.5 and 3 hours depending on Its a fairly scenic route with some nice green Irish countryside to see. There are a few places to stop for food and fuel, one fuel that I recommended is the Barrack Obama Plaza, this fuel station has plenty of parking and it has a few different options for food. This route has a toll road so you will need a payment method to pay the toll!
Drive towards the M50 in the South Dublin direction
Drive towards the north direction of O Connell street upper side
Take a left-hand turn on the Parnell Street
Take a right-hand turn onto Ryders Row
Tae sharp right onto Chapel street
Take a left-hand turn onto Bolton Street/N1/R804 road
Drive onto the R804, follow this road
Take a left turn onto Queen street signposted R804/R805
Take a right-hand turn to usher Island marked R418
Drive on the R418 roadway
Take the left lanes to turn on the left-hand side to St John Road/ Chapelizod/WIR 148 road
Use the left 2 lanes to turn slightly left onto Chapelizod Bypass/St John’s Rd W/R148
Follow the Chapelizod road/ R148 for 6.5 kilometres
Take the left lane onto the M50 via the ramp signposted for Dun Laoghaire
Use the left lane to merge onto M50 via the ramp to Dún Laoghaire for one kilometre
Drive onto the M50 /signposted N7
Take exit 9 from the M50 road and merge onto M50
Take the exit at junction 9 and turn into the left lanes and come onto the N7 road signposted for Waterford/Cork/Limerick
Drive towards signs for Kildare
You will merge onto the N7 road after 19.9 kilometres.
Follow this road onto the N21 and M7 to Limerick
Follow signs for M7 Limerick/Waterford/Cork/M9/M8
You will pass through the Toll
Drive onto E20
Take the exit at Junction 30 exit and drive onto the M20 signposted for Tralee/N21/Cork
Follow the N21 roadway for 6.2 kilometres
Keep to the right-hand side and continue on the N21 road
At the roundabout take the second exit and drive into the village.
Turn right onto Station Rd
Restricted usage road

The destination will be on the right
